Style – Piano Minimalism

“Piano Minimalism” is a style of piano music that emphasizes resonance and simplicity, expressing subtle emotions and delicate soundscapes through gentle melodies and harmonies. It is a music style originally named by myself.

A versatile composer and sound creator with a diverse portfolio spanning television, video games, commercials, and songwriting for various artists. Notable works include the million-selling, iconic golf franchise “Everybody’s Golf” (Sony Computer Entertainment) and the beloved NHK children’s program “Peek-a-boo!” (Inai Inai Baa!).

Piano

My compositions are characterized by a delicate touch that captures the essence of nature and scenery, utilizing the inherent warmth and clarity of the piano. While working across a broad range of genres, I focus on this expressive style as the core of my creative work.

Education

I serve as an instructor at vocational and higher vocational schools, teaching not only composition but also music and sound design. Driven by a desire for young children to experience the joy of performing, I have published a series of simple and fun piano duets that can be played even without reading music.
